Drew McIntyre Pitches Braveheart 2: The Rise Of Wallace, Says Acting Is Not On His Radar
Drew McIntyre is focused solely on WWE.
Speaking with Bleacher Report, the RAW Superstar was asked about the Network’s move over to NBCUniversal’s Peacock and potential career opportunities that it may present. Recently, it was confirmed that Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss would be appearing on the streaming service’s reboot of Punky Brewster. According to McIntyre, though, it’s not something that’s currently on his radar. Here is what he said:
“Not right now, but you never know what the future holds. I’m all about getting more eyeballs on WWE. That’s the biggest thing to me, and moving to Peacock, that’s going to be a whole lot of eyeballs on WWE. But if there’s an opportunity that would put more eyes on the product, I’m all about it.”
If you’re hoping to see Drew in Hollywood, here’s the story he’s holding out for:
“If somebody makes Braveheart 2: The Rise of Wallace, we take all the body parts of Wallace, put them back together, he comes back as Zombie Wallace and he wreaks havoc on the English, but until that day comes [acting] is not something on my radar.”
Drew McIntyre is set to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37. Before that, however, he will be squaring off with Sheamus at Fastlane on March 21, 2021.
Fightful will have live coverage of Fastlane this Sunday beginning at 3 PM PST.
