Wrestling World Celebrates Steve Austin On 3:16 Day, Elite Dissension Continues | Fight-Size Update

Oh, Hell Yeah! It’s 3:16 Day! Here is your fight-size update for Tuesday, March 16.

– Today was all about celebrating the career and legacy of WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Part of the celebration would see A&E release a sneak preview for the biography special on Austin. You can check out the preview above.

– As is becoming a 3:16 Day tradition, WWE has released a video of current WWE Superstars re-enacting the famous Austin 3:16 promo from the WWE King of the Ring pay-per-view in 1996.

– Austin also surprised a young fan with his own Smoking Skull WWE Championship belt.

– On last night’s Raw, R-Truth thought it was 3:16 Day and even though it wasn’t, he was able to get his coveted WWE 24/7 gold returned to him by Bad Bunny. You can check out the top 10 moments from WWE Raw at this link.

– Many wrestlers also shared their cherished Steve Austin moments.

– AEW recently released a backstage press conference with Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers, shortly after Omega came face-to-face with Christian Cage on AEW Dynamite.

– RetroMania wrestling now has an Xbox release date.

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda’s Inside SKoop, former WCW and WWE referee Nick Patrick, opened up on JJ Dillon returning to his managerial role on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

“It’s good to see J.J. again, and I’m glad to see some of the old-timers still being able to be in the mix and get a gig. Whether they need it or not, I don’t know what the situation is. It’s good to see that. They show respect. Both of those guys certainly earned respect. J.J. was certainly, to me, one of the best managers of all time.”

– Speaking of AEW, Tony Schiavone recently revealed a graphic novel project.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Christian Cage revealed that his new slogan, “Out-work Everyone” is not just a tagline for him. It is a way of life.

“That’s always been my thing,” Reso says. “No matter where I was on the card, or whatever story I was in, that kept me relevant. The shows are better with me on them, and I’m willing to out-work everyone. That isn’t a tagline; that’s the truth.”
