Natalya Says Liv Morgan Has A Lot Of Leadership Skills That People Don’t Know About
Natalya shares an unexpected locker room leader.
Speaking with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, the self-proclaimed Best of All-Time spoke about Liv Morgan and how the two have been training together. Natalya says that Morgan has lots of leadership qualities and is impressed with how she implements them in the ring. Here was her full response when asked to share who is leading in the back:
“You know who I really see leading in a way that I think it’s really cool… We have so many leaders on SmackDown, I will say that there’s just a lot of girls that lead. I have been working lately with Liv Morgan and we’ve been training together privately, and she’s been coming and working with me. I really see Liv, and Ruby [Riott] actually, both of them, but I’ve been working very closely with Liv. Liv actually has a lot of leadership skills that people don’t know about. She was in developmental for a long time. I watched Liv in our wrestling practice, TJ and myself we were watching her, and people don’t realize it because she looks very young, but she’s actually got a lot of leadership qualities about her that I’m impressed with. I’m impressed with how she brings them to the ring, but people don’t know that, so I told Liv, don’t forget that you’re actually a leader. She helps people and you don’t even realize that she’s doing it. If we need to make somebody look really strong for example, Liv takes herself out of the match and says, okay, I don’t want to look weak but I need to make sure that we tell the story of David vs. Goliath and she really puts herself into a leadership role.”
Natalya would continue on to say that she appreciates all the training that Liv has been doing, working with her at least two times per week. She would also name Bayley and Tamina as leaders. She shared that Tamina is the mamma bear of the group, revealing that she took care of Chelsea Green when she got injured, staying by her side and making sure she was taken care of.
Natalya and Tamina have been partnering as of late, with the goal of eventually becoming the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
