SmackDown Viewership Sees Big Increase Following Royal Rumble
Last night's episode of SmackDown, featuring John Cena as WWE Champion and the rest of the fallout from the Royal Rumble, drew 2.817 million viewers. This is an increase of over 250,000 from last week's 2.556 million viewers, according to Show Buzz Daily.
SmackDown came in at #9 in viewership on cable for the night, behind Fixer Upper, Curse of Oak Island, The O'Reilly Factor, Tucker Carlson, The First 100 Days, Hannity, Special Report and The Five. SmackDown was #1 in the highly coveted18-49 demographic, finally besting Curse of Oak Island, which had long held that spot on Tuesdays.
By contrast, Monday's RAW averaged 3.271 million viewers, which was up from the 2.907 million viewers that watched last week's episode.
