Seth Rollins Injured On RAW, Being Evaluated Soon

Seth Rollins more than just took an attack from Samoa Joe at the end of Monday Night RAW, he left RAW with a potentially re-injured right knee.

Rollins is reportedly injured and unsure the severity of the injury. According to PWInsider, the injury is not a storyline one from the Samoa Joe attack that Triple H sent out, but an actual one. Joe attacked Rollins by surprise and it is thought that Rollins injured his knee when Joe was putting Rollins through the Coquina Clutch submission move.

Rollins is in Birmingham, Alabama to get examined. Once he is examined, there should be a better answer as to whether or not Rollins will have to miss his second straight WrestleMania.

In late 2015, Rollins tore his ACL, MCL and medial meniscus at a house show in Europe. He was in match with Kane and tried to do a sunset flip powerbomb, but his knee landed awkwardly on the canvas, injuring the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He missed 6 months of action from that injury, forced to vacate the WWE World Title and did not participate at WrestleMania 32. He returned to WWE at the 2016 Extreme Rules pay-per-view

Samoa Joe commented on Twitter that he did what he was told, pushing the angle that he was sent by Triple H to attack Rollins.

WWE also posted a video of Rollins leaving RAW backstage on crutches and being escorted by WWE officials to a vehicle.
