Hangman Page vs. Matt Hardy And Ladder Match Added To AEW Revolution, Updated Card
Hangman Page got one over on Matt Hardy.
Matt Hardy thought he had Hangman Page under contract last Wednesday when he tried to get Hangman to sign a contract while Hangman had been drinking. The contract stipulated that Matt would be Hangman’s manager and get 30% of his earnings.
Hangman pulled one over on Hardy, switching out the contracts without Hardy realizing it.
It was revealed on Wednesday that the new contract stipulated Hardy and Hangman would meet at AEW Revolution where Hardy would give Hangman 100% of his 2021 first-quarter earnings if he lost the bout. Hangman, being an honorable man, agreed to put up his first-quarter earnings as well.
Thus, the money match was agreed to.
After agreeing to the match, Private Party and TH2 attacked Hangman before Dark Order made the save.
