Khamzat Chimaev struggles to train after testing positive for COVID-19
In a newly released video courtesy of RT Sport MMA, Khamzat Chimaev is seen really struggling to train due to the after-effects of testing positive for COVID-19. Chimaev’s planned fight against Leon Edwards fell through three times, all three bout cancellations were due to COVID-19 reasons. Chimaev was forced to pull out of the bout twice, once for testing positive for the virus and once for not fully recovering from symptoms of the virus.
Rest up Khamzat.

In the video above, Chimaev clearly looks in pretty bad shape as he is trying to train and is seen on multiple occasions really struggling to train due to respiratory issues.
When Chimaev’s bout against Edwards was canceled for the third time, UFC president Dana White revealed that he would fly Chimaev out to America to get him good health care which will hopefully help Chimaev in his recovery from COVID-19.
