UFC 258 Prelims Video Highlights: Anthony Hernandez Submits 7-Time Jiu-Jitsu Champ
In a prelim card lacking names, it showed off a variety of action, and featured incredibly slick submissions from Polyana Viana and Anthony Hernandez, see that and the rest of the highlights below
Anthony Hernandez def Rodolfo Vieira via submission
Anthony Hernandez came into his fight vs Rodolfo Vieira as a massive underdog, and after weathering some difficult positions early on, and letting Vieira burn himself out. Hernandez got back to his feet, and started rocking a very tired Vieira, only to even more shockingly choke out the jiu-jitsu world champion. Easily the early candidate for upset of the year, and it would be stunning if anything were to beat it even though it’s only February.
