Ryan Hall out of his fight with Dan Ige

Ryan Hall has been forced to pull out of his fight with Dan Ige on March 13, reports Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com. Hall has not fought since he defeated Darren Elkins in July of 2019. Since then, he has struggled to get any fights and when he has, something has forced it to be canceled. He was scheduled to face Ricardo Lamas in August but Hall was forced out of the bout. Since then, he has been calling out several opponents like Korean Zombie. Hall was also removed from the featherweight rankings in the newest update. Ige will remain on the card hopefully, with the UFC reportedly looking for a replacement.

Patricio “Pitbull” Freire vs. Emmanuel Sanchez

Bellator will now exclusively air on the Showtime television network, starting with Bellator 255 on April 2. Scott Coker revealed at a press conference that the event will be main-evented by Patricio Freire vs. Emmanuel Sanchez II. It will be for the featherweight title and the winner will move on to face A.J. McKee in the finals. “Pitbull” has already defended his title against Sanchez by unanimous decision at Bellator 209 in November 2018.

Dominick Reyes vs. Jiri Prochazka

MMA Fighting reports Dominick Reyes vs. Jiri Prochazka have rescheduled their fight for a UFC event on May 1. The pair were due to headline UFC Vegas 20 but Reyes suffered an undisclosed injury that forced the matchup to be delayed. Reyes has lost his last two fights to Jon Jones and Jan Blachowicz while Prochazka scored a knockout in his octagon debut against Volkan Oezdemir.

Juan Archuleta vs. Sergio Pettis

Juan Archuleta will defend his bantamweight title against Sergio Pettis. The pair will headline Bellator 258 on May 7. Pettis is the younger brother of Anthony Pettis and will be hoping to capture gold in Bellator for the first time.

Pedro Munhoz vs. Jimmie Rivera postponed

Pedro Munhoz and Jimmie Rivera has been pulled from UFC 258, reports MMA Fighting. The report states that COVID-19 is the reason for the late pull-out and the UFC is hoping to rebook the fight for UFC Vegas 20 on February 27. The pair have fought previously in November 2015 with Rivera earning a split decision victory.

Drakkar Klose vs. Luis Pena

Drakkar Klose will now face Luis Pena at UFC Vegas 19 after Jai Herbert pulled out from the fight for undisclosed reasons, reports MMA Fighting. Klose was last seen inside the Octagon when he was finished by Beneil Dariush at UFC 248, while Pena lost to Khama Worthy by decision.

Don Madge vs. Nasrat Haqparast

Don Madge has a new opponent on March 13 after Guram Kutateladze was forced to pull out of the event due to a torn meniscus. Madge hasn’t competed since defeating Fares Ziam via unanimous decision at UFC 242, while Haqparast won a unanimous decision win over Alexander Munoz in August.
