Jason Herzog Has Funny Interaction With Fan On Twitter After UFC Vegas 18
Hardcore MMA fans know the familiar face of longtime referee Jason Herzog…however he’s not the biggest guy in the word, especially when working on the same cards as massive referees, such as John McCarthy, Herb Dean and Dan Miragliotta.
You could imagine how small Herzog looked in the octagon during the main event of UFC Vegas 18 when officiating the bout with the 6 foot 7 Alexander Volkov and 6 foot 4 Alistair Overeem.
The size difference caught the attention of a certain fan on Twitter who asked why the athletic commission would put Herzog in the octagon with the 2 behemoths:
Because the UFC understands that should the need arise, Keith Peterson and I would join together to form Voltron… https://t.co/SaT9RCjEUh
