Dustin Diamond, IMPACT Alum And ‘Saved By The Bell’ Star, Passes Away
Dustin Diamond, best known as Screech on “Saved By The Bell” passed away at age 44.
Diamond was hospitalized in January and diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer.
TMZ first reported the news.
For wrestling fans, Diamond made an appearance on the September 18, 2002 weekly NWA: TNA pay-per-view. Diamond competed in a “boxing match” against The Bellkeeper. You can watch the appearance by clicking here.

Diamond also made appearances for Memphis Championship Wrestling in 2000, where he was involved in a storyline alongside The Kat (Stacy Carter). He also made appearances for Chicago’s AAW and NYC’s FTW as well as Independent shows in Toronto. His last Independent appearance came at a WOH Wrestling event in 2014
In 2008, Diamond took part in Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling, a reality series that aired on CMT. Diamond was one of the final four contestants on the show, which was won by Dennis Rodman.
