Tasha Steelz Says She And Kiera Hogan Will Face Any Team From Any Promotion

Fire N Flava wants to prove that they are the best tag team in the world.

Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan won the Knockouts Tag Team Titles at IMPACT Hard To Kill on January 16, 2021, defeating Havok and Nevaeh. As they kick off their reign, the champions are not shying away from competition, open to facing any team, regardless of who signs their paychecks.

In an interview with Wrestling Headlines, Tasha Steelz had this to say when asked if she and Hogan had their eyes on anyone from AEW:

“This is the whole thing with me and Keira being the best women’s tag team. We don’t just want to be the best women’s tag team in IMPACT, we want to be the best women’s tag team in the entire world. This is why we are so dominant. We don’t care who steps up. Anybody from any promotion, any challengers wanna step to us…they can get it. Anytime. I have my eyes on everybody that feels like they can compete with Fire N Flava. That’s who I got my eyes on. So whoever has the time, we got the place and we got the days. Tuesday nights on AXS TV at 8pm.”

Fire N Flava called out Tony Khan and AEW’s supposedly “best” tag team division after winning the belts. Take a listen below, via, IMPACT’s Twitter:

IMPACT and AEW have been collaborating since early December when Kenny Omegastole” the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley with help of IMPACT co-executive Vice President Don Callis. This kicked off a partnership that has seen Omega, Private Party, and Matt Hardy, amongst others, appear on IMPACT, while The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) have featured prominently on Dynamite.

AEW President Tony Khan recently spoke with Renee Paquette and detailed the working-relationship between AEW and IMPACT.

Havok and Nevaeh crashed Fire N Flava Fest on the last episode of IMPACT Wrestling, looking to find their way back into the title picture.
