Report: Title And Synopsis Of WWE Network Pat Patterson Documentary Revealed

WWE Network’s upcoming Pat Patterson documentary has a title and synopsis.

On December 28, 2020, it was announced that a Pat Patterson documentary would be debuting on the WWE Network one week before the Royal Rumble on January 24, 2021. Now, Steve Coulson at WWE Network News is reporting that the special will be called My Way: The Life and Legacy of Pat Patterson.

Coulson also provided a new synopsis for the documentary (seen below):

“Pat Patterson and those who knew him best look back at his unlikely path to the top of sports-entertainment. From growing up a poor kid in Montreal, to finding fame in San Francisco and New York City and working side-by-side with Vince McMahon, Pat became the celebrated creative force behind some of the greatest moments and matches in WWE history.”

Patterson began wrestling in 1958 and was the inaugural WWE Intercontinental Champion. He also competed in AWA, NJPW, and NWA. He was a 13-time NWA World Tag Team Champion. He finished up his full-time wrestling career in 1984.

Following his retirement, Patterson worked as a producer/agent and is credited with the original format for the Royal Rumble. He is best known to modern fans as being one of Vince McMahon’s stooges alongside Gerald Brisco during the Attitude Era.

Sadly, the WWE Hall of Famer passed away at age 79 on December 2, 2020, following a battle with cancer.
