MMA Fighters React To USADA Relaxing On Marijuana Violations
USADA have relaxed their policy on marijuana use and this of course has caused the MMA community to react.
The news was greeted with glee among most people, although there is some skepticism as to how the Athletic Commissions will co-operate with this and if there will be sanctions still for using it in the United States.

Yesterday’s news regarding USADA’s “removal” of cannabis from the prohibited list in the UFC was a great 1st step. Guys I’m sure you heard the news that now usada doesn’t regulate marijuana anymore. But if you fight in the US the athletic commission will still regulate marijuana and you can still get suspended and your win will be overturned.

The devil seems to be in the detail and a cautious optimism would be needed. It’s a step in the right direction but fighters must be diligent still as to their consumption.
