AJ Kirsch Announces He’s No Longer With MLW Following Appearance On AEW Dark
AJ Kirsch has announced that he is no longer under contract to Major League Wrestling following an appearance as “Broseph” Joe Brody on AEW Dark.
Prior to the global pandemic shutting down the bulk of MLW events until late 2020, AJ Kirsch was a part of the broadcast team for MLW. Elsewhere in his wrestling career, Kirsch portrays the Joe Brody character, an over-the-top caricature of the average “bro.” While portraying the character, Kirsch won the “Rock The Promo” tournament held by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on social media.
Now, Joe Brody has made his debut in AEW, appearing alongside Tesha Price as she lost a match to Serena Deeb.
Following this appearance, AJ Kirsch took to his personal social media to reveal that he was no longer under contract with MLW.
Welp…I guess now’s a good time to mention that as of January 1st, I was/am no longer under contract with @MLW.
I’m so grateful to @courtbauer & @MSL for welcoming me like I’d been there for years, but no one went above and beyond like @RichBocchini.

.@MLW is truly something special, from the presentation of the product to the locker room to the production staff.
It was a joy, both professionally and personally, to be a part of the #RiseOfTheRenegades.#MLW was a huge step for me.
Here’s to the next one.
