Report: Dalton Castle A Free Agent, Ring Of Honor Renewal Remains An Option
Dalton Castle could be headed to the open market.
According to a report from Wrestling Inc., the Ring of Honor star is now a free agent. They claim that the promotion has offered Castle a new contract, which is “said to be good.” He is said to be considering the offer but also wants to see what else is available.
Castle debuted in ROH on May 11, 2013, at the Dragon’s Reign event. At Final Battle 2017, he defeated current AEW Superstar and Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes to win his first and only ROH World Championship. He would eventually lose the title to Jay Lethal on June 30, 2018.
The last time Castle appeared on ROH TV was on December 21, 2020, when he defeated Brian Johnson.
