Triple H Believes No One Will Be Able To Predict The End Of The Royal Rumble

Triple H was recently interviewed by IGN, mostly about his animated surfing penguins movie, but also about WWE related topics as well. One thing that came up is the Royal Rumble this Sunday, and how Triple H believes that the uncommonly deep field in this year's match make for a very unpredictable Rumble.

"This year's Royal Rumble is one of the biggest, most star-studded Rumbles that I can recall. Just look at the people who have thrown their name into the Rumble so far. You've got Goldberg and Lesnar and the Undertaker. When you start to look at that level of talent and then also see the Bray Wyatts and the Randy Ortons and everyone else that's going to be a part of it, it really is one of the biggest Rumbles I can think of."

Along with the aforementioned talents, the list of Rumble Entrants also includes Former WWE and current Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, the guy he just beat for the belt (and former WWE Champion) The Miz, current United States Champion Chris Jericho, former World Heavyweight Champ Dolph Ziggler,  former WWE champ and current Tag Champ Sheamus, his tag team partner Cesaro, former World Champion The Big Show, former United States Champion Rusev, Sami Zayn, Big Cass, Luke Harper, Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman, and all three members of record breaking tag team The New Day. There are still nine spots left to fill.

Add all that talent to the fact that either the Raw or the Smackdown #1 contender could be named, depending on which brand the winner is signed to, and you've got a Rumble with a ton of different possible outcomes.

At least, Triple H seems to think so.

"Sometimes there's a year in the Rumble where you think 'Okay, I can see this or that happening. This seems like where the Rumble might be headed.' But this year, it's really tough to call," Triple H said. "And I think that's when the Rumble's at its best, when you can't really put your finger on what's going to happen. I can see this year going a lot of different ways and I think it's going to go in a way that nobody expects."
