NJPW Coming Soon To US And UK Television
New Japan Pro-Wrestling could be returning to English television soon.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports NJPW is “very close” to an English-language television deal. The report states “the deal is close enough that an announcement could come at any time.”
No further details were given on the potential deal and no potential television outlet was listed in the report.

NJPW previously had a US deal with AXS TV, but the relationship between the two parties ended in 2019 after Anthem Sports and Entertainment, IMPACT Wrestling’s parent company, bought the network. NJPW began airing on AXS TV in 2014 and showed highlighted matches each week and events on a tape delay.
NJPW content does air in America through FITE TV. NJPW has also aired NJPW Strong, which are taped shows from America, during the pandemic on NJPW World.
