WWE SmackDown Viewership, Ratings Down For New Year’s Day 2021 Episode



New Year’s Day edition of SmackDown sees a decrease in viewership.

According to overnight numbers released by Showbuzz Daily, the January 1 episode of SmackDown averaged 1.915 million viewers, down from the 3.336 million viewers the December 25 episode averaged.

In the 18-49 demographic, the show averaged a 0.5 rating. Between ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC, SmackDown viewership was the highest viewed program. The show also drew a 0.6 rating in the 25-54 demographic.

Hourly Breakdown:

Hour 1: 1.996 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 1.834 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic
