TAELER: Killer Death Machines Face Jazz And Jordynne Grace

This Tuesday kicking off IMPACT Wrestling 2021 we’ll see the second semi finals match of the Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournament. Towards the latter part of 2020, IMPACT made the tremendous decision to bring back the Ko’s Tag Team Titles. With the talent currently residing in the division, the timing couldn’t be better. The Phenom herself Jazz has teamed up with former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. The dynamic duo defeated the debuting team of Killer Kelly and Renee Michelle to advance in the tournament. This key win rounded out a mightily successful year for both ladies despite the pandemic.

IMPACT Wrestling has been bringing back a vital tactic that proved immensely successful for the company in years past – The Knockouts Division. With IMPACT being viewed on Twitch and AXS T.V., more Knockouts featured means more ratings, viewership, and incoming revenue. When on Spike T.V., the Knockouts had some of the highest ratings on the entire show. A long time coming and hard fought for by women like Gail Kim, Hamada, Awesome Kong, Roxxi Laveaux, Mickie James and more. The rebirth of the Knockouts Tag Team Titles previously held by Taylor Wilde, The Beautiful People, Sarita, Tara, and more will add another element of competition in an already stacked division. A division so diverse in experience, talent, esthetic, and demographic. Shattering previously preconceived notions about women’s wrestling.

As more new blood gets pumped through the veins of the Knockouts Division, we’ll soon see the much anticipated crowning of the new inaugural Knockouts Champions. Already eliminated were The Sea Stars Ashley Vox and Delmi Expo. Alisha Edwards and Tenille Dashwood. Killer Kelly and Renee Michelle. Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee. And lastly, Wera Loca Taya Valkyrie and The Demon Assassin Rosemary. So who will advance and who will lose next? Killer Death Machines? Jazz and Jordynne Grace? Both teams looking for an edge heading into this match. Both teams wanting those belts. Both wanting to start off 2021 one step closer to their fingers gripping the belts in success.

Recently, Jazz took to her Twitter announcing her retirement tour set for this year since 2020 was hindered as the industry did it’s best to safely circumnavigate the pandemic. Her diligent work ethic and years of experience have not missed a beat. Fans expressed their utter elation at Jazz’s successful IMPACT Wrestling debut with partner Grace. All echoing a claim that she still got it… As if she ever lost it? Come on, she’s Jazz and she’s badass! She never lost it, she humbly maintained it. When you’re the baddest B on the block, you don’t need to shout it, because honey they already know… Ya know?

With Jordynne Grace teaming up with Jazz, there’s a momentum in her favor. Not only a dream partner for Grace, but also that Grace was the Knockout to dethrone Taya Valkyrie who surpassed Taryn Terrell in becoming the longest reigning Knockouts Champion. After flying through the Division, Grace’s new challenge would be in the debut of The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo. People thought that Jordynne Grace losing the title to Purrazzo meant the decline of Grace in IMPACT. However, the opposite unfolded in my opinion. After this key loss, Grace would go on to face Purrazzo in the first ever 30min Knockouts Iron Woman match and become only the third Knockout to ever challenge for The X-Division Championship. And now for the new Knockouts Tag Team Titles while teaming with Jazz. That’s a heck of a year!

Now heading into this match, The Killer Death Machines are no certainly strangers to Jordynne Grace. But I do believe they’ll be squaring off with Jazz for the first time. Between Jessicka Havok and Nevaeh, there’s over twenty years of Pro Wrestling experience. And more than five years as a tag team. You have to wonder if their familiarity with each other as a team will give then the upper hand…? Are they watching footage in preparation for this match? While The Killer Death Machines have a more brutish power style, Grace and Jazz have a slightly more versatile in ring style. And yet both teams also possess a similarly power dominance style. All the while Jazz has the single most competitive experience. Although Jazz and Grace are a newly formed team, they are thus far undefeated. A level of excellence that The Killer Death Machines also have the distinct pleasure of boasting heading into this bout.

We’ll have to see if any interference happens from the Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo who interfered leading to Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary’s defeat. Taya Valkyrie now challenging for the title Grace herself still has her sights on. The potential is there for her and Jazz to capture the Tag Team Titles and Grace win back the Knockouts Title as well. The other team advancing after their assisted win is Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz. The winner whether it be Killer Death Machines Jessicka Havok and Nevaeh or Jordynne Grace and Jazz, will then then face off against Steelz and Hogan. To the winners go the titles! Tune in to IMPACT on AXS T.V to find out who!
