Change To Top-15 Fight At UFC Fight Night 104

Jan Blachowicz has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night 104. Replacing him against #6 Ovince St. Preux will be Vlkan Oezdemir.

St. Preux (19-9-0) will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, dropping fights to former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and Jimi Manuwa. St. Preux only earned a single victory in the last year, which came over Rafael Cavalcante at UFC Fight Night 82. St. Preux is 1-3-0 in headlining fights under the UFC banner, defeating Mauricio Rua, while suffering defeats to Jon Jones, Glover Teixeira and Ryan Bader.

Oezdemir (12-1-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he will be doing so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Oezdemir has earned ten of his twelve victories via a first round finish, his other two victories came by way of decision. Oezdemir is also a veteran of Bellator MMA, where he defeated Josh Lanier and suffered a defeat to Kelly Anundson.

UFC Fight Night 104 takes place on Saturday, February 4 from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with Dennis Bermudez and Chan Sung Jung headlining, the main card airs live on Fox Sports 1.
