The ongoing saga of Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather constantly hits snags and delays — as if it's even going to happen — but according to Fox Sports, boxing great Manny Pacquiao is open to taking on the UFC Lightweight Champion.
"In boxing? In boxing (I would) but not in (UFC), just boxing." Pacquiao said. "I'm sure he will be moving around. I didn't see it [footage of Conor sparring]. But if we are talking about Conor McGregor and boxing, it's different. Boxing is different than MMA."
McGregor, who is currently on an MMA sabbatical as he awaits the birth of his first child, was offered $25 million by Mayweather to take the fight. UFC President Dana White countered by offering Mayweather $25 million as well, which Floyd scoffed at.
Pacquiao retired, then returned to boxing in 2016 with a victory over Jessie Vargas. He's set to take on Jeff Horn on April 22.
