Sean O’Malley And Cody Garbrandt Involved In Twitter War, More News | Social Media Roundup
UFC bantamweight division stars Cody ‘no love’ Garbrandt and ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley have been involved in several back and forth spats on Twitter — this and much more on Tuesday’s social media roundup.
Garbrandt and O’Malley involved in Twitter spat
Fellow UFC bantamweight stars Cody Garbrandt and Sean O’Malley have been involved in multiple Twitter spats over the weekend. O’Malley sure knows how to bait Garbrandt. O’Malley and Garbrandt appear to have verbally agreed to a matchup following a Twitter exchange where “Sugar” claimed “No Love” would get knocked out by YouTube star Jake Paul.
@jakepaul prob knock you out https://t.co/Ec766I3FtS
— Sean O’Malley (@SugaSeanMMA) December 17, 2020
Garbrandt then responded to O’Malley.
You are the softest dude on the roster, wait you’re still are on the roster right?! Drink some more milk kid maybe one day you can fuck with the big dawgs. https://t.co/M5RfNnfOd2
— Cody Garbrandt (@Cody_Nolove) December 17, 2020
O’Malley then responded to Garbrandt by saying he wants to fight him.
Fight me https://t.co/H9kSeTPOzN
— Sean O’Malley (@SugaSeanMMA) December 17, 2020
Garbrandt then fired back by poking fun at O’Malley’s last loss to Marlon Vera where O’Malley left the Octagon on a stretcher.
I’ll have a stretcher ready for you —- https://t.co/kYQ61s9LZs
— Cody Garbrandt (@Cody_Nolove) December 17, 2020
While the fight is hardly a done deal, both parties seem very interested in a future matchup which would definitely have a lot of eyes on it. Garbrandt is coming off the back of a knockout of the year contender against Raphael Assuncao while O’Malley is coming off the back of a TKO stoppage loss to Marlon Vera.
Colby Covington brings out the evil side of Stephen Thomspon
The NMF of MMA, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson is well known to be one of the nicest and most polite competitors in the whole sport. However, UFC villain Colby Covington has provoked Thompson to say some of the harshest words he will ever say.

What is the best combination of UFC fighters’ skills?
If you were able to combine several fighters’ skills and abilities who’s would you use/combine and what? The following tweet is probably one of the best examples of what the ultimate MMA fighter would be.

UFC resigns Matheus Nicolau
When the UFC had their clear out of the flyweight division last year, one of the most talented flyweights in the world, Matheus Nicolau was also released from the UFC. Nicolau has now been resigned to the UFC and already has his return fight booked.
The UFC has re-signed Matheus Nicolau. The Brazilian Flyweight talent was victim of the Flyweight purge in 2018. He got cut after losing to Dustin Ortiz. He went 3-1 in the UFC.
Nicolau will return on January 23rd at #UFC257 against Tagir Ulanbekov. Much deserved re-signing.

T.J. Dillashaw ready to return to action
T.J. Dillashaw looks to be in the best shape of his career ahead of his return to the Octagon in 2021. Dillashaw, who is eligible to return to competition in January 2021 has raised quite a lot of eyebrows from several UFC fighters about what he wants when he returns. Dillashaw has made himself clear that he wants an immediate title shot on his return. Dillashaw is looking jacked ahead of his return.
One man who seemingly wants to fight Dillashaw when he returns is fellow UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley.

Whilst Dillashaw is still claiming ownership of the UFC bantamweight title, one man who has been extremely active, unlike Dillashaw in 2021 is Kevin Holland. Holland has taken to Twitter to slam Dillashaw about his claim that he is still the champion at bantamweight.
Dog if this was like NCAA sports your ‘titles’ would have been wiped out of the record books. #cmonman my money is with @funkmasterMMA in that division. https://t.co/llDsQxql8R
