Stephen Thompson Outclasses Geoff Neal: UFC Vegas 17 Video Highlights
Stephen Thompson showed his superiority across five rounds against Geoff Neal at UFC Vegas 17.
An early clash of heads spelled trouble for the fight as both men were cut over eyebrow; however, they managed to compete five hard rounds that re-asserted “Wonderboy” as a welterweight elite.
Stephen Thompson def. Geoff Neal via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45)
In UFC’s final fight of 2020, Thompson played his game to perfection in nullifying any attack that “Hands of Steel” Neal threw his way. By keeping most of the fighting at distance, and picking Neal apart with single strikes, “Wonderboy” was able to overcome a knee injury late in the fight to coast to a shutout victory.
The streaking Neal sees his lengthy winning streak come to an end, as he suffers his first UFC loss.
