Report: Sami Callihan Expected To Remain With IMPACT Wrestling

The latest on Sami Callihan’s status with IMPACT Wrestling.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Sami Callihan is expected to remain with IMPACT Wrestling. His contract expires in December 2020.

Callihan has not reportedly or officially re-signed with the company.

It was announced that Callihan signed a multi-year deal with IMPACT in February 2019, with the contract reportedly being signed in October 2018.

During this two-year contract run with IMPACT, Callihan has become one of the top stars in the company, winning the IMPACT World Title in October 2019 before dropping the belt to Tessa Blanchard at Hard To Kill 2020.

Callihan debuted his hacker gimmick following Hard To Kill, a remix on the Solomon Crowe gimmick he portrayed during his brief time in NXT. He is currently aligned with Ken Shamrock after a feud with the IMPACT Hall of Famer.

He is not currently scheduled to wrestle at IMPACT Final Resolution on Saturday, December 12.

Fightful will provide more information on Callihan’s contract status as more is known.

In other IMPACT contract news, Ethan Page is not expected to re-sign with the company. His contract expires at the end of the year. Meanwhile, Taya Valkyrie’s status is unknown according to PWInsider. She signed a two-year deal in 2019, though didn’t give a specific date.
