Adriano Moraes defends his ONE Championship flyweight title vs Demetrious Johnson
Adriano Moraes (18-3) will defend his ONE Championship flyweight title against Demetrious Johnson (30-3-1). The bout was announced by the promotion and takes place on February 24. Johnson (30-3-1) will get his first crack at gold since his trade from the UFC. Johnson, following his close decision loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC 227, was traded to ONE Championship for Ben Askren. Johnson has since gone 3-0 in ONE Championship and won the promotion’s Flyweight Grand Prix. Moraes is coming off a unanimous decision win over Geje Eustaquio in January 2019.

Report: Max Griffin vs. Song Kenan set for March
Max Griffin returns to the Octagon following his gruesome victory vs. Ramiz Brahimaj at UFC Vegas 13 in November. He will now fight Song Kenan. The bout, first reported by MMAJunkie, is planned for a UFC Fight Night on March 20. Griffin (16-8) confirmed the news on Facebook. Kenan (16-5) is on a two-fight winning streak and last beat Derrick Krantz.
Bella Mir (Daughter of Frank Mir) books second MMA bout
The 17-year-old daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Bella Mir is making her second MMA appearance. Mir will fight for iKon Fighting Federation 4 on December 11, per MMAJunkie. The event will air exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. Mir (1-0) will face Alma Cespedes (0-2) in a featherweight matchup.
Alexandre Pantoja vs. Manel Kape cancelled
Alexandre Pantoja will no longer welcome RIZIN champion Manel Kape to the Octagon on December 19. Pantoja told MMA Fighting that he COVID-19 complications had him reeling.
“I’m better now,” Pantoja told MMA Fighting. “But I felt really bad for a week. Fever, loss of taste… I can feel the taste and smell of things now, but still tested positive on my last test on Monday. I’ll do the test again today to be able to leave the house.”
Pantoja expects the Kape fight to be rescheduled for February.
