IMPACT Wrestling Results for 11/24/20 Swann Retains, Johnny Swinger Found Not Guilty

Hey Fight Fans, it’s time for tonight’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV!
– Scott D’Amore visits John E. Bravo’s doctor at John’s bedside at the hospital where the doctor tells Scott that he’s going to make it. Scott then tells John that Johnny Swinger goes to wrestling court tonight before leaving.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament Opening Round Match
Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz vs The Sea Stars
Delmi and Kiera start things off with Delmi taking Kiera down to the mat before hitting several gator rolls. Delmi gets two off of a back slide before getting another off of a sunset flip before hitting a neckbreaker for two. Ashley comes in and hits a neckbreaker for two before Kiera tags in Tasha who kicks her in the midsection and Ashley hits a shotgun dropkick. Ashley gets two off of the dropkick before Kiera hits Ashley from the apron and she and Tasha isolate Ashley. Delmi gets the hot tag and takes out both Kiera and Tasha before getting two off of a bridge before hitting running moves in opposite corners.
Delmi hits a fall away slam with Kiera into Tasha who falls out of the ring for two before hitting a fireman’s carry slam. Ashley gets the tag and hits a Celtic cross for two before Tasha sends Delmi into the post and hits Ashley with a bulldog. Kiera then hits Ashley with a fisherman’s buster for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz defeat The Sea Stars via pinfall to advance in the tournament.
– We go backstage to see Jordynne Grace backstage with Jazz who is going to team with Jordynne in the tournament.
– We get a breakdown of the rest of tonight’s show including the return of The Phenomenal One against Ethan Page, Johnny Swinger in Wrestler’s Court and Rich Swann defending his title against Ken Shamrock.
– Backstage a giddy Ethan tells Josh about Doc being out for four to six weeks before Josh reminds Ethan that now they can’t challenge for the tag belts. Ethan then leaves saying that he’ll figure something out.
– We see Johnny Swinger in an orange jumpsuit being escorted to Wrestling Court as we go to commercial.
– We come back to Wrestling Court where Madison Rayne is serving as Johnny’s defense attorney with D-Lo Brown as the prosecuting attorney. Madison immediately objects to Tommy being the judge before D-Lo takes over as the judge and Tommy the prosecutor. Tommy talks about how Johnny is dead to rights as he had the motive, opportunity and even the gun in his fanny pack. Madison says that Johnny couldn’t have shot John, implying that he’s not intelligent enough to have come up with the idea. Bahh takes the stand and says that Swinger was bitter that chose him over Johnny as his best man before Cody takes the stand and talks about how he found the gun at Turning Point.
Acey takes the stand and talks about the fingerprint analysis he did before listing off a variety of people’s prints he found on the gun, including, but not limited to Cody, Taya, Rosemary, Cousin Jake, Brian Pillman and Ron Simmons before D-Lo does Ron’s “Damn” catchphrase.
Rohit Raju vs Suicide
The two exchange arm drags before Suicide dropkicks Rohit and Rohit punches Suicide when he goes for a springboard as we go to commercial.
We come to Rohit in control until he rips the mask off of Suicide and TJP comes out onto the stage. Suicide unmasked then pins Rohit with a sunset flip as it’s revealed to be Crazzy Steve.
Winner: Crazzy Steve defeats Rohit Raju via pinfall.
– Backstage Sami gets Ken psyched up for his title match before they’re interrupted by Moose who says that they’ll be facing off for the second most important title in IMPACT. Moose says that he respects Ken and that he knows he’s dangerous before telling him not to forget the last time they faced each other in which Moose won. Sami then has to hold Ken back before Moose leaves as we go to commercial.
– We come back to Aliyah, Tenille and Kaleb before Alisha tries to get Tenille to keep teaming with her before we go back to the ring for our next match.
Kimber Lee w/ Deonna Purrazzo vs Killer Kelly w/Renee Michelle
Lee drops Kelly and chokes her against the ropes before a snap mare into a stretch that Kelly bridges backwards to turn into a pin attempt for two. Kelly hits a capoeira move before hitting a running dropkick in the corner before Lee elbows Kelly when she has her up on her shoulders. Lee hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before hitting a Swanton Bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kimber Lee defeats Killer Kelly via pinfall.
– After the match Deonna and Kimber celebrate before Susie comes out onto the stage and says that they hurt her friend and that it’s going to get really bad. Su Yung then comes out and rushes the ring before booting Kimber out of the ring and beating on Deonna in mount. Kimber then saves Deonna from the mandible claw before Su leaves and Susie looks around confused.
– Motor City Machine Guns are interviewed backstage where they say that they’re coming for revenge against XXXL, then they’re coming for The North and then the gold as we go to commercial.
– Backstage Rich sits down with Willie Mack before they’re interrupted by Chris Bey who wants Willie to leave before Chris tries to lobby his way into a title shot. Willie and Rich nearly attack Chris before he ends up leaving when he sees what is about to happen.
Ethan Page w/Josh Alexander vs Swoggle w/Karl Anderson
Swoggle hits a head scissors before Ethan drops him with a boot and a shoulder block before hitting an elbow drop for two. Swoggle bites the leg of Ethan before Josh grabs his ankle and Karl drops Josh before Swoggle rolls Ethan up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Swoggle defeats Ethan Page via pinfall.
– We go back to Wrestling Court where Tommy cross examines Johnny who says that he’s the OJ Simpson of Professional Wrestling before the defense rests. Father James Mitchell takes the stand and talks about the power of virgin blood before Tommy cross examines Rosemary. Tommy asks Rosemary if she loved John before she says that she didn’t love him before John comes in the room in a hospital gown. John then says that Rosemary didn’t shoot him before Tommy asks how he could know since he was shot in the dark before he said he smelled the person who shot him as we go to commercial.
– We come to Wrestle Court where it’s revealed that Larry D shot John rather than Johnny Swinger before D-Lo dismisses the case and everyone leaves.
Fallah Bahh vs Daivari
Daivari rushes Bahh and punches and chops him in the corner before Bahh comes back with a running cross body. Joe Doering and Eric Young then come out and take out both Bahh and Daivari for the double disqualification.
Winner: No Contest due to double interference.
– After the match Eric says that they’re the cure for a sick world before they’re rushed by Rhino who is immediately taken out before Eric says that the world belongs to them.
– Backstage TJP talks with Steve and Swoggle before they’re interrupted and mocked by Brian Myers as we go to commercial.
– Deonna and Kimber meet with James Mitchell and tries to find out if he can turn their Su Yung problem into a Susie problem before he tells them that he’s there if they need him. The two then stare at his hand, hesitant to shake it and make a deal with the metaphorical devil.
– We get a graphic for the matches on next week’s show as the Knockouts Tag Team Tournament continues before we go back to the ring for our main event.
IMPACT World Championship Match
Rich Swann (c) vs Ken Shamrock w/Sami Callihan
Rich does his best to avoid Ken early before Sami picks his ankle and Ken goes after Rich who quickly gets to the ropes for the break. Sami is ejected from ringside before Rich dropkicks Ken repeatedly and focuses on the ankle of Ken. Ken catches Rich coming off of the top before driving the head of Rich into the turnbuckle and dropping him onto the mat. Ken locks in a single leg Boston crab before kicking the back of the leg of Rich and dropping him repeatedly while staying focused on his now injured leg. Ken then takes Rich down to the mat with a front headlock before driving his knee into the ribs of Rich as we go to commercial.
Rich comes back with right hands as we return to the action before rocking Ken with several clotheslines. Ken kicks Rich in the midsection and drops him with a knee before stomping him and kicking him in the spine. Rich comes back with several kicks that drop Ken before hitting a rolling splash for two before hitting a sunset flip for two. Rich superkicks Ken and goes up top before hitting a frog splash for a near fall before Ken nearly locks in an armbar, Rich’s foot underneath the bottom rope for the break. Ken locks in an ankle lock before Rich gets free and Ken locks in a sleeper before Rich rolls back and pins Ken for the win.
Winner: Rich Swann retains his IMPACT World Championship by defeating Ken Shamrock via pinfall.
– Ken attacks the referee after the match before Sami hits Rich with a piledriver and grabs a baseball bat before Rich is saved by Eddie Edwards. Sami hits Eddie with the bat before he and Ken tape Eddie to the top rope and Sami mocks Eddie before Eddie screams at Sami to do it and Sami hits Eddie in the face with the bat. Eddie is seen busted open before D-Lo Brown comes out and is knocked out with a punch by Ken before Ken beats on D-Lo. Sami then chokes and punches Eddie before Scott and an official make them leave as we go off the air.
