Bruce Prichard: The Undertaker Will Still Be Able To Captivate An Audience When He’s 75 Years Old

Bruce Prichard feels The Undertaker is the greatest character in the history of WWE.

30 years ago today, The Undertaker debuted at the 1990 WWE Survivor Series event with his original manager, Brother Love. Now, Undertaker is set for his final farewell at the 2020 WWE Survivor Series event and all these years later, his original manager couldn’t be prouder of the association he has with WWE’s “Phenom.”

Appearing on a special episode of WWE’s The Bump, WWE executive director Bruce Prichard shared his thoughts on The Undertaker’s legendary career.

In the past, Bruce has stated on his podcast that he feels the storyline between Kane and Undertaker is the greatest storyline in WWE history and he would once again share that sentiment. Bruce also shared a tremendous photo of his first photo shoot with Undertaker, where they each traded a piece of their signature wardrobe.

When asked what he wanted to say as his own final farewell to his friend, Bruce would say that he greatly cherishes the moment they had outside the ring but also noted that The Undertaker is such a captivating character that he could continue to play the role many decades from now and audiences would still be just as captivated as they were on Thanksgiving Day in 1990.

“It’s been a helluva 30 years, without a doubt. I’m very proud of my association with The Undertaker, I’m very proud of what The Undertaker has become. I have said to him many, many times that he could still come out at 75 years old and he could still be The Undertaker and just revered by the audience. I love you and congratulations on an incredible career that I doubt will ever be repeated.”

Many others in wrestling have given their thoughts on the final farewell of The Undertaker. You can check out the remarks from a host of wrestling legends including John Cena, Shawn Michaels, and Vince McMahon at this link.
