Report: Chris Weidman vs. Uriah Hall 2 On Track For UFC 258

Chris Weidman and Uriah Hall are expected to dance more than a decade after their first encounter.

Hall (16-9) and Weidman (15-5) have verbally agreed to a fight at UFC 258 on February 13, according to a report from ESPN’s Ariel Helwani. The two first met at a Ring of Combat event in September 2010. Weidman handed Hall his first professional loss to claim the promotion’s middleweight championship.

Hall (no. 9) has tied his UFC best winning streak of three consecutive victories. This latest run includes wins over Anderson Silva, Antonio Carlos Jr. and Bevon Lewis. Weidman (no. 10) — a former UFC middleweight champion — is coming off a unanimous decision win over Omari Akhmedov. Prior to that, “All American” went on a 1-5 run with five knockout or TKO losses.

It was also reported on Tuesday that a UFC welterweight title fight between Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns is also being targeted for the card.
