WWE NXT UK Results for 11/5/20 Gallus vs Sam Gladwell & Pretty Deadly
The Iron King returns to NXT UK and A-Kid faces Noam Dar in the Heritage Cup Tournament!
Good afternoon Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for today’s edition of WWE NXT UK!
Gallus vs Sam Gladwell & Pretty Deadly
Stoker and Mark start the match off before Wolfgang and Lewis come in and Wolfgang manhandles Lewis. Wolfgang drops Lewis repeatedly before Joe enters the match and takes Lewis down with an arm drag into a straight arm bar. Gladwell comes in next and Joe locks in a standing side headlock before they run the ropes and Joe knocks Sam over with a shoulder block. Gallus clear the ring before Gladwell takes his time getting back into the ring before tags back in. Lewis is immediately driven into the corner before sending Wolfgang over the top rope and down onto the floor before Stoker superkicks Wolfgang from the apron.
Sam runs the ropes with Mark before PD double up on Mark and DDT him. Gladwell scoop slams Mark and knocks Wolfgang off of the apron before getting distracted by Joe and Mark hits a side Russian leg sweep. Joe comes in and runs over Lewis before sending Stoker out of the ring and hitting Lewis with an overhead belly to back suplex and a butterfly swing. Gladwell then breaks up the pin attempt by Joe before hitting Joe with an STO before Joe hits All of the Best for the Bells for the pin and the win.
Winner: Gallus defeat Sam Gladwell and Pretty Deadly via pinfall.
– We get a video package for A-Kid and Noam Dar ahead of their tournament match as we go to commercial.
– We come back to a recap of The Hunt turning on SWS and joining with Eddie Dennis.
– We get a video of Rampage Brown at the UK PC earlier this week.
Jinny vs Leah James
Jinny lays into Leah with knees before sending her into the corner and stomping her down before Leah comes back with a dropkick. Jinny drops Leah almost immediately before beating on her and Leah hits a head scissors before Jinny nearly knocks her out with a rolling kick for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jinny defeats Leah James via pinfall.
– Jinny cuts a promo after the match before Piper Niven rushes the ring and they start arguing before the NXT UK Women’s champion Kay Lee Ray comes out and mocks them. Jinny then slaps Piper before Piper headbutts her and hits her with a chair before Leah tries to get her to stop and gets hit with a Michinoku driver. Piper then hits Jinny with a Michinoku driver onto a chair before chasing KLR to the back.
– We get a video package promo by Eddie Dennis and The Hunt as we go to commercial.
– We come back to Piper and KLR backstage before they were separated by officials. We then get a graphic for the NXT UK Women’s Championship match between the two for next week.
– We get a video package for the debut of Rampage Brown and Dave Mastiff versus Trent Seven in the Heritage Cup.
Heritage Cup Tournament Semifinal Match
Noam Dar vs A-Kid
Round 1
The two grapple on the mat before Dar drags Kid down to the mat repeatedly before A gets to his feet. A takes Dar down to the mat with several side headlock take overs before Dar crotches him on the top rope and hits a running knee and down onto the floor as the round ends.
Round 2
A hits a springboard arm drag into a dropkick for two before Dar sweeps A from the second rope. Dar rocks A with an uppercut before A comes back with a cross face and Dar nearly taps as the round ends.
Round 3
Dar gets two off of a sunset flip before missing a running splash in the corner and hitting a sliding knee to the back of the head of A for a near fall. Dar then locks in a double armbar for the verbal tap as the round ends and Dar goes up one fall.
Round 4
Dar kicks the arm of A to set up another armbar before headbutting him in the midsection and A gets the pin and the second fall off of a bridging pin out of nowhere.
Round 5
They end up outside where Dar suplexes A onto the ramp before A hits a 619 with the apron and the bottom rope. A then hits a shining wizard once Dar is back in the ring for a near fall before they exchange strikes on their knees and up to their feet as the round comes to a close.
Round 6
Dar kicks A in the face repeatedly before Dar gets two off of a sunset flip and A two off of a crucifix. A locks in a short arm scissors that Dar turns into a pin attempt before A locks in a triangle choke. Dar punches his way free and kicks A in the chest before dropping him with a back elbow. A then counters the Nova Roller before locking in an Omoplata for the verbal tap and the win.
Winner: A-Kid defeats Noam Dar via submission to advance to the finals of the Heritage Cup Tournament.
