Update On Kylie Rae-IMPACT Ahead Of Retirement
Kylie Rae has wrapped up her in-ring career, according to a post this week.
After not showing up at IMPACT Bound For Glory, many of the IMPACT staff and roster grew concerned. Kylie broke her silence this week, and clarified that she isn’t wrestling anymore. Ahead of that, IMPACT had left the door open for a return if she so chose.
Fightful Select reported the following:
In an update on the Kylie Rae situation, we’re told there’s no bad blood from the IMPACT side, and the company is hopeful that she’ll be able to return in the future. The company has tapings from November 17 through the 20th, and have left a lot of story related points open ended in case she can make those tapings, but weren’t pressuring her to do so. None of the roster that we spoke with had heard from her as of last Tuesday Morning, prior to her message indicating that she had retired this past Monday.
Kylie was set to take on Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship at IMPACT Bound For Glory 2020. There was overwhelming concern for Kylie the weekend of the tapings, with the roster and staff prioritizing her well being and safety.
