Report: Nick Maximov Faces Matheus Scheffel On Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 36
A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 36 as Nick Maximov faces Matheus Scheffel.

Maximov (5-0-0) is competing for the third time in 2020, making it his most active year as a professional MMA fighter. Maximov has competed a total of five times as a pro MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round. Maximov also went undefeated as an amateur fighter, with no bout lasting longer than two minutes.
Scheffel (14-6-0) comes into the Contender Series on a two fight winning streak, defeating Marcelo Cruz and Fabio Augusto De Assis Vasconcelos. Scheffel is competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place in October of 2019. Scheffel has picked up 10 of 14 wins by KO/TKO and the remaining four came by way of decision.
Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 36 takes place on Tuesday, November 17 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
