Three Fights Added To Bellator 171

Three more fights have been added to this month’s Bellator 171 card as AJ McKee faces Brandon Phillips, Jessica Middleton faces Alice Smith Yauger and Justin Overton faces Gaston Reyno.

McKee (6-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career under the Bellator MMA banner, with notable wins coming over Cody Walker and Danilo Belluardo. McKee has only seen one of his six professional MMA fights go to a decision, that was a win over Ray Wood at Bellator 166.

Phillips (4-2-0) is currently undefeated under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated Chuka Willis at Bellator 159. Phillips held two championships as an amateur fighter, as he held the Disorderly Conduct Featherweight Title and the Battle At The Fort Featherweight Title.

Middleton (1-0-0) made her professional MMA debut at Bellator 159, where she defeated Bruna Ellen by unanimous decision. Middleton fought seven times as an amateur MMA fighter, including an appearance at the Victory Fighting Championships.

Yauger (4-4-0) will be making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight and she will be doing so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Yauger is a former Rage On The River Women’s Bantamweight Champion, defeating Colby Fletcher to win the belt in 2015.

Overton (3-2-0) will be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and he will be doing so while riding a two fight losing streak. Overton is a former Rage On The River Lightweight Champion, he defeated Dalton Goddard to win the title in 2015.

Reyno (6-1-0) has won just two of three fights under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Greg Scott and Loren Hemreck Jr., while suffering a defeat to Chuka Willis. Reyno has only seen one of his seven professional MMA fights go the distance, that was a unanimous decision loss to Chuka Willis at Bellator 150.

Bellaor 171 takes place on Friday, January 27 from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas with Melvin Guillard and Chidi Njokuani headlining.
