Five Fights Added To UFC Fight Night 107
The upcoming UFC Fight Night 107 card has gotten a few new additions as Henry Briones faces Brad Pickett, Leon Edwards faces Vincente Luque, Marc Diakiese faces Teemu Packalen, Scott Askham faces Brad Scott and Francimar Barroso faces Darren Stewart.
Briones (11-4-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating Guido Cannetti, while suffering defeats to both Cody Garbrandt and Douglas Silva.
Pickett (25-13-0) will be competing in his final fight of his professional MMA career, one that has lasted over twelve years.
Edwards (11-3-0) holds the record for the fastest knockout in the welterweight division, which was an 8 second knockout of Seth Baczynski at UFC Fight Night 64.
Luque (9-5-1) will enter the fight riding a four fight winning streak, with those four wins coming over Hayder Hassan, Alvaro Mendoza, Hector Urbina and Belal Muhammad.
Diakiese (9-0-0) has already earned a pair of victories under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Lukasz Sajewski and Frankie Perez.
Packalen (8-1-0) will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC victory, which came over Thibault Goiti at UFC Fight Night 84.
Askham (13-3-0) has rotated wins and losses since coming to the UFC, defeating Antonio Dos Santos Jr. and Chris Dempsey, while suffering defeats to Magnus Cedenblad, Krzsztof Jotko and Jack Hermansson.
Scott (10-4-0) made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, but lost to Robert Whittaker in the finals of the reality show.
Barroso (17-6-0) has won three of six fights during his time in the UFC, with notable wins coming over the likes of Ryan Jimmo and Elvis Mutapcic.
Stewart (7-0-0) fought Barroso for the first time at UFC Fight Night 100, the fight ended in a no contest, it was Stewart’s third fight of 2016.
UFC Fight Night 107 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time.
