Report: Pat Casey Replaces Austin Vanderford At Bellator 246
Austin Vanderford has been pulled from Bellator 246 for undisclosed reasons, replacing him against Daniel Madrid is Pat Casey.

Madrid (17-6-0) is making his Bellator debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Madrid is also competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place at LFA 72 in July of 2019. Madrid has picked up fifteen of his seventeen wins by way of submission, with another coming by decision.
Casey (6-2-0) has won two of three under the Bellator banner, with those wins coming over Tyler Hamilton and Kastriot Xhema. Casey hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last win coming over Matt Denning at AMMO Fight League 7 in July of 2019. Casey is a former Premier FC amateur middleweight champion, defeating Costa Gemelas to win the gold at Premier FC 23.
Bellator 246 takes place on Saturday, September 12 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Juan Archuleta and Patrick Mix headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
