LeBron James And Kobe Bryant Support Ronda Rousey
Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey failed in her bid to reclaim the championship at UFC 207, when she was finished by strikes in less than a minute by Amanda Nunes. The social media world has been quite harsh to Rousey since that defeat, but two NBA stars in multi-time NBA Champion Lebron James and the now retired Kobe Bryant have offered the fallen star their support.
“In sports, in general, they build you up as high as they can, put you on the highest mountain in the world, just to tear you down. That’s coming from somebody who has experienced it. And that’s exactly what she’s going through right now. That’s a fact. I know exactly how she feels because I was that athlete. I went through that. You don’t know her mindset,” Lebron said to Ohio.com. “You don’t know the drive, is the drive still there? You don’t know. But you can tell that it’s built and built and built and built and built, they always make the teardown story more important than how long it took for her to actually get to the mountaintop.”
As for Bryant, he took to Twitter to offer his support to Rousey:
Instead of clapping for @RondaRousey defeat give her a standing O for putting the sport on the map #pioneer #muse

Rousey’s future is in the air right now, as her mother has voiced her opinion in saying she should retire, while WWE officials have said they would like her to step into the squared circle.
