Report: Ovince St. Preux Pulled From UFC Card Over COVID-19 Concerns
Ovince St. Preux vs. Alonzo Menfield was scrapped from the co-main event of UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar on the day of the card due to COVID-19 concerns.
KO Reps, who represents OSP, said the fighter presented both positive and negative tests this week. He is currently without symptoms but was removed from the card out of precaution.
For safety precautions the @003_OSP fight will be removed from the card tonight and reschedule for 9/5. He battled Covid previously and presented both + and – tests this week. He currently has no symptoms and his cornermen are all clear. #ufc

The bout will get rescheduled for UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Sakai according to KO Reps, with that event set for September 5.
A lightweight fight between Austin Hubbard and Joe Solecki has been promoted to the main card; meanwhile, a bout between Marcin Prachnio and Mike Rodriguez will serve as the new co-main event. The card’s star time has been changed to 6:30pm ET.
UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar takes place tonight from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Pedro Munhoz and Frankie Edgar headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event. The prelims will air on ESPN+ and the main card broadcasts live on ESPN.
