Jim Ross Comments On Brock Lesnar’s Potential USADA Violation
Jim Ross has made a career of talking, and he has plenty to say about the potential Brock Lesnar USADA violation.
In his new blog at his official website, the WWE Hall of Famer Ross is pretty outspoken in his recommendation to fans to let the facts emerge before passing judgment on Lesnar. He also says that the “smell test” doesn’t always work.
“It’s also eye rolling when some people say that they can, without a shadow of a doubt, determine what an individual is taking as it relates to supplements, etc by merely looking at them,” Ross said. “As the late, great Gorilla Monsoon used to exclaim, ‘Will you stop?!'”

Ross, who worked with the WWE on and off for two decades, doesn’t think that Lesnar’s potential violation is a condemnation of WWE’s drug testing policy, either.
“I do not feel that the WWE Wellness Policy is a “joke” as some are proclaiming. WWE has the best testing program in the genre by far but they also seem to receive the most grief from “concerned fans” who rarely critique other promotions who do little, shall we say nothing, to enhance their talent’s well being,” said Ross.
Ross, who talks about the issue much more extensively in his full blog, said that the problem will never go away.
“PED’s are an issue that everyone from WWE to the NFL to UFC to the Olympics must continue to address. Will the issue ever be fully solved?,” Ross asked. “No, absolutely not because some people seemingly just HAVE to try to take a short cut and create an unfair advantage for themselves. When it costs enough athletes enough, big money then perhaps and only then will it lessen but it will never disappear as long as big money is factored into the equation.”
