Report: Ketlen Vieira vs. Marion Reneau Rebooked For September 26 UFC Card

A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been rebooked for the yet to be announced UFC card on September 26 as #7 Ketlen Vieira faces #10 Marion Reneau.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, as the bout was originally set to happen this past May.

Vieira (10-1-0) is looking to rebound from her first professional MMA defeat, which came against Irene Aldana at UFC 245. Vieira is back on a Fight Night card for the first time in three-plus years, with her last such appearance coming at UFC Fight Night 96 in October of 2016. Vieira has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of submission.

Reneau (9-6-1) comes into the contest riding a three fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to Cat Zingano, Raquel Pennington and Yana Kunitskaya. Reneau also hasn’t picked up a win in nearly two years, with that last victory coming over Sara McMann at UFC On Fox 28 in February of 2018. Reneau has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.

The yet to be announced UFC card is set for Saturday, September 26 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
