Ricochet Is Pretty Positive Taylor Swift’s ‘My Tears Ricochet’ Isn’t About Him
Taylor Swift surprised fans with a new album ‘folklore’ on Thursday night and as expected, it’s amazing.
Track five is titled “my tears ricochet” and is about an “embittered tormentor showing up at the funeral of his fallen object of affection.”
So, no, it’s not about WWE’s Ricochet, and he made sure to clarify that on social media.
Listen everyone’s, I’m sure @taylorswift13 is a Ricochet fan. But I’m pretty positive her new song isn’t about me lol

BUT WHAT IF IT IS?!?!?!
Let’s take a look at the chorus:
I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace
And you’re the hero flying around, saving face
And if I’m dead to you, why are you at the wake?
Cursing my name, wishing I stayed
Look at how my tears ricochet
A hero flying around to save face? Does anyone know a babyface in WWE who is often referred to as a superhero? That’s what I thought.
Is it possible Ricochet has a prior relationship to Swift that we were previously unaware of? I’m not saying it’s true, but I’ve read crazier Taylor Swift lyrical conspiracy theories today. Like, a lot crazier.
As Fightful’s resident Taylor Swift expert (Sorry, Denise), I will continue to monitor the story.
