AEW Announces Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament

The women of AEW will be showcased this summer. 

On Wednesday’s Dynamite it was announced that the 16 women will compete in a Women’s Tag Team Tournament entitled Deadly Draw. The video package made it sound as if teams will be randomly paired — ala Lethal Lottery in WCW — for the tournament, though that has not been confirmed. Competitors for the tournament and a start date for the tournament have also not been confirmed.

AEW does not have official Women’s Tag Team Titles or an official AEW women’s tag team division.
