Roman Reigns Says He Still Wants One vs. One Match Against Keith Lee
NXT’s double champion has drawn the attention of The Big Dog.
After Keith Lee defeated Adam Cole in the main event of the second night of the Great American Bash to become the double NXT and North American Champion, plenty of people took notice, including Roman Reigns. A day after the historic win, Reigns took to Twitter to congratulate Lee on the accomplishment while also telling the champion that he wants a match.
Congrats on one hell of a journey @RealKeithLee . Still a ton of work to do, which I know you already know. Keep killin it and representing. I definitely still want that one on one, Champ! —- https://t.co/duhhdU73SR

Later on, Keith Lee would willingly accept the challenge via social media.
The Grind is forever boss man. I’ll most certainly look forward to it. —- https://t.co/v1UB8mxK5x

The two have never had a one vs. one match and only ever been involved in the same match twice in their respective careers: the men’s Raw vs. SmackDown vs. NXT match from last year’s Survivor Series and in this year’s Royal Rumble match.
Reigns has been off WWE television since March as he is currently sitting out back home. There’s no word on when he will return to the ring, but did previously say he’ll be ready to whoop “everybody’s ass.”
