UFC Officially Cancels UFC Fight Night Dublin
Another UFC event has officially bitten the dust as UFC Fight Night Dublin, which was scheduled for August 15, has been canceled.
The UFC made the announcement through Twitter:
Due to current government restrictions on public gatherings in the Republic of Ireland, #UFCDublin originally scheduled for August 15th will not take place as planned at the @3ArenaDublin.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker and Darren Till were reportedly going to headline the card, but they will now headline the Fight Night event scheduled for July 25. No other fights, including the reported main event, were made official before the event’s cancellation.
There is no word yet on when the UFC will return to the country of Ireland, but the promotion did say they plan on returning there in the “near future.”
