IWL Says Will Ospreay Told Venue He Was Uncomfortable With Pollyanna Being Booked
Will Ospreay was accused of taking part in blacklisting Pollyanna from wrestling before she eventually retired in December 2016.
Ospreay denied the accusation in a lengthy message, but International Wrestling League in London has come forward to back Pollyanna regarding the blacklisting claims.
The promotion claims that they had booked Pollyanna against Renfrew for a show, but was contacted by the venue, who told them Will was uncomfortable with Pollyanna being on the show. If they didn’t pull her from the event, they would lose the venue.
We’ve been trying to put something decent together but fuck that, lets call a spade a spade.
Shortly after announcing @GothicLolly vs Renfrew, we got a message from the venue asking us to call them to discuss something. https://t.co/4HrBDTrhOn

Apologies to @GothicLolly who despite fighting a one-sided, was always professional.
To @WillOspreay, go fuck yourself and your half-arsed apologies.
