Robert Drysdale Gains Criticism For Not Letting Max Rohskopf Quit On The Stool At UFC Vegas 3
Robert Drysdale has come under fire after his cornering at UFC Vegas 3.
Drysdale cornered Max Rohskopf Saturday night during a short notice battle against Austin Hubbard. After being beaten on for the duration of two rounds, Rohskopf quit on the stool, stating that he’d had enough.
Well, at least he tried to.

Drysdale gained criticism from many for refusing to allow Rohskopf to stop fighting, even after Max had stated somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 times that he didn’t wish to fight. Only when an athletic commission member approached was the fight eventually called off and awarded to Austin Hubbard.
Rohskopf was unable to keep the fight on the ground, and sustained a battering on the feet as a result.
Drysdale is a former UFC fighter in his own right, who failed multiple drug tests and was released by the UFC as a result. He went undefeated during his run before stating in 2019 that he’d retired.
