WWE Announces Release Of Jack Gallagher
Jack Gallagher has been released.
WWE announced a short statement on its website announcing that Gallagher has been released from the company. The company statement reads as follows, “WWE has come to terms on the release of Jack Gallagher (Jack Claffey).”
The announcement comes shortly after an individual on Twitter by the name of Becky accused Gallagher of assault years ago. Gallagher and a number of WWE wrestlers, as well as wrestlers from around the world, have been accused for a number of different transgressions.
Earlier in the day, WWE sent out the following statement regarding the recent allegations surrounding some of its wrestlers.
“Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.
WWE’s ability to fine, suspend or terminate a WWE talent will not be, however, limited or compromised in any manner in the event incontrovertible evidence of such illegal misconduct is presented to WWE.”
Gallagher was a part of the first-ever WWE Cruiserweight Classic and was soon signed to WWE, appearing as a member of 205 Live while also wrestling on a number of different brands, more recently on 205 Live and NXT.
