Vickie Guerrero Talks Working With AEW’s Women’s Roster, One Thing They Can Take Away From Her

AEW has used wrestling legends and past stars as coaches for some of its younger talent and Vickie Guerrero says she’s been working with the women of AEW.

In an interview with Alex Feuz, Guerrero, who has appeared on AEW programming a handful of times in the past few months, talked about how great the young talent on AEW’s roster is and working with the women. Guerrero says the women’s roster is incredibly talented and that it is important for wrestling figures of the past to share their knowledge with the younger talent because they will carry the industry into the new generation.

“The great thing about All Elite Wrestling is that they have a lot of young talent on there, but the coaches there are incredible. Legends like Jerry Lynn, Dustin Rhodes, Cody, so to be able to share their knowledge with the younger talent [is great], and I’ve been able to work with some of the girls and to give them advice and give them pointers is something that’s important in this industry. The knowledge that I have and the experiences is something that I’m able to share with them because with these talents being so young and they’re incredibly talented. The talent they have, I’m in awe at some of the things they can do. For them to be able to hear advice from me, give them pointers, I think this is what it’s all about: sharing our knowledge and being able to make the best talent that we can because they’re going to carry the wrestling into the next generation,” Guerrero said.

Guerrero then spoke about one thing she wants to make sure the women take from her experiences is to never stop learning and keep working on their craft and their character because she believes that no matter at what stage you are, there’s always more to learn.

“The one value I try to share with the women of All Elite is to never stop learning. Once you stop learning, you won’t grow,” Guerrero said.
