Stipe Miocic Doesn’t Plan On Fighting Until Coronavirus Pandemic Ends
The coronavirus pandemic has been causing havoc all over the world and Miocic, who is also a fireman in the state of Ohio, doesn’t plan on fighting until the pandemic comes to an end.
“There’s no way,” Miocic told James Lynch of The Score (via Nick Baldwin of The Score). “I can’t get a full camp in, so there’s no reason to fight.”
Cormier has been calling for a third encounter with Miocic and if the champion has his way, it could be quite a while before they collide in the Octagon once more.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, one thing Miocic is confident about is that it will get better soon enough.
“Hopefully it gets better,” he said. “I think it’s gonna get better.”
WorldOMeters reports that 3,303,850 people have been diagnosed with the virus worldwide, while 233,813 have died due to the virus.
