Mark Hunt May Be Organizing Another Lawsuit Against The UFC

Former UFC fighter Mark Hunt and the promotion itself have been in a legal battle since Hunt fought and lost to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 200.

Hunt has lost every lawsuit he has filed against the UFC thus far, but that hasn’t stopped the fighter from organizing another one against the promotion.

“Things will change when you bring the Ali Act in,” Hunt told Duello Channel (via Nolan King of MMA Junkie). “It totally changes things around. I’m with these guys that are part of this lawsuit class action. Once this comes, it’ll change the whole landscape of fighting. The fighters get paid more money, which is better for the employees. They’ll start living properly. Why do you make it to the top of the world in fighting? So you get paid well. Right now, these guys aren’t getting paid well. They’re getting ripped off.”

There is no word yet from how Hunt plans on using the Ali Act in another potential lawsuit against the UFC, but the promotion has been vocal against the Ali Act in the past.

One reason Hunt believes that there aren’t many changes for the fighters in the UFC is that they are afraid to speak about it.

“Most of the fighters are just scared to talk about it,” Hunt said. “A lot of the fighters are scared to speak up about it. You’re actually fighters not just in the octagon, but everywhere. To get guys like this to come around to kiss-ass these (expletive) guys like Dana White, it’s a joke. He’s just a joke. He’s an idiot.”

The former UFC fighter, who hasn’t competed since leaving the promotion, has told Duello Channel that he may do some boxing in the future.
