AEW Double Or Nothing Will Be Televised As Scheduled, Won’t Be Held At MGM Grand
AEW Double or Nothing will air on Saturday, May 23 on pay-per-view, but it won’t take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
AEW announced on social media that its upcoming pay-per-view Double or Nothing will move forward in some capacity, but with the MGM Grand closing down operations through May, a new venue will be needed. AEW will return to the MGM Grand for Double or Nothing 2021 on May 29, 2021.
A new venue was not announced and it is unknown if AEW will tape the show in advance or air the event live on streaming platforms and pay-per-view.
The company also announced that the AEW Dynamite taping for May 27 at the MGM Grand has also been canceled.
Las Vegas, will be revealed in the weeks ahead with features of the event itself ultimately being determined by the latest guidance of national and global health authorities.

Fans who have already purchased tickets to the May 23, 2020, show will be offered a refund via the point of purchase or have their original ticket valid for admission to the event on May 29, 2021.

As previously reported, AEW has taped episodes of Dynamite up to Double or Nothing. The only match announced for Double or Nothing is the AEW TNT Title tournament finals.
